HOW IT WORKS


I-Link is the personal car sharing platform that allows drivers who enter into a long-term rental agreement with Leasys (the Players) to share their cars with their community (the Users) when they don't use it.
To become a User you need to receive an invitation from a Player to join their community. The invitation that you will receive by e-mail includes the credentials to access the sharing platform to finalize the registration. To book the vehicle and to manage shares you need to download the I-Link App.
To become an I-Link User you must be at least 18 years old and have had a valid driving licence for at least one year.
By using I-Link, you have access to the Leasys roadside assistance service. Call toll-free number 800 083 729 and a tow truck will take the vehicle to the nearest Leasys garage. Inform promptly the Player of the occurrence.
In case of theft you must inform the Player promptly and in the meantime you have to report the event to the competent Authorities (Police, Carabinieri) within 24 hours.
In case of accident you must inform the Player promptly, and prepare and fill the amicable accident report form (CID form) on the accident scene and any other reports issued by the competent authorities (Local Police, State Police and/or other competent Authorities). In both cases you need to send the original charging documents within 24 hours of the event, to allow the Player to proceed according to the rental agreement. However, the Player might have signed a rental agreement with Leasys that provided for deductibles in the insurance policies. Ask the Player for more information before you start your journey.
Use of the car is never allowed for more than 21 consecutive days in a month. Temporary use of the car must necessarily comply with the hours and the pick up and return areas indicated by the Player in the reservation. Use of the car for periods longer than that indicated in the reservation will be calculated in the reimbursement due to the Player.
No smoking and no pets are allowed without the Player's express consent.
No, only the User who made the reservation can drive the car.
No, the geolocation function will be inactive during the share.

HOW TO USE THE PLATFORM


Once the reservation is made, you can geolocate the vehicle starting from the 15th minute preceding the start of the share. The vehicle can be opened through the App by pressing the "OPEN" button. You will find the keys to ignite the engine in the interior of the vehicle.
Opening the vehicle by mistake is a highly unlikely occurrence, as you would need to confirm on the I-Link platform the licence plate and to good conditions of the vehicle for the doors to unlock.
The share can be considered started the moment the vehicle doors are unlocked. Remember, you can cancel your reservation up to 12 hours before the share. If you wish not to utilize the vehicle without cancelling the reservation first, you will be able to redefine the conditions directly with the Player.
Within the first four days of the month following that of the shares you will receive the statement with details of your journeys and the related expense reimbursement to be made according to the Player's instructions.
There is no maximum kilometrage; however, the Player can agree with you on a maximum number of kilometres travelled for each single share.
Being late to pick up the vehicle has no implication. In case of delay in the return of the car, you must inform the Player promptly.
The Player can cancel a previously accepted reservation at any time.
Through the I-Link App you will be able to modify the date and hour of the reservation at any time based on the availability indicated by the Player.
We recommend that you check carefully the conditions of the vehicle before you start and report on the App any damage that you detected. When you unlock the doors with the "OPEN" functionality, you must confirm the good conditions of the vehicle and contact promptly the Player if you notice any damage or anomalies.
You can cancel your reservation up to 12 hours before the start of the share directly from the App.
In the period you are using the car you will need to lock the doors with the car keys. Do not terminate the share on the App if you are not returning the vehicle. Use the "MAP" functionality to remember where you parked!
You cannot terminate the share in an area other than that chosen by the Player to return the vehicle.

HOW IT WORKS


I-Link is a personal car sharing platform that allows you to defray the operating costs of your car by sharing it with your community, when you don't use it. You can invite up to 10 friends in your community.
With I-Link if you rent a car from Leasys (Player), you will be able to share it with your community (User). The credentials to access the platform are sent by e-mail after you register. On the I-Link you can invite in the community up to 10 friends, who will be able to book the car when they need it. You will decide when to make your car available.
To become a Player to need to rent a car on a long-term basis under your own name from Leasys and register with I-Link.

When you enter into a long-term rental contract with Leasys, you will need to sign an addendum on the use of I-Link containing the departures from the provisions of the "General Long-Term Rental Terms and Conditions". Then, when you register on the platform you need to flag the field related to the acceptance of the "Terms and Conditions" to finalize the registration.
The long-term rental contract included third-party liability insurance (with a €250 deductible), theft and fire (with a 10% deductible) and damage repair insurance (with a €500 deductible). The policy covers the full vehicle, including the windshield, but does not cover damage to the interior of the vehicle.
Deductible is the part of the cost of the damage that is borne by the renter, in accordance with the long-term rental contract signed with Leasys.
No, the insurance policy does not cover the damage arising from putting the wrong fuel in the vehicle.
The reimbursement is calculated automatically by the I-Link platform on the basis of the minutes the vehicle is used as a share of the monthly rental. The amount of the reimbursement can be viewed by each User in the "Account" section of the I-Link App.
In case of accident the User is required to inform you promptly, to prepare and fill the amicable accident report form (CID form) and any other reports issued by the competent authorities (Local Police, State Police, Carabinieri). The documents must be sent so that you can begin with the Leasys procedure outlined in the Manual located in the vehicle and available online in the "Do you need help?" section on www.leasys.com.
This description is contained in the "Terms and Conditions" that the participants in the community (Users) accept when the register on the platform. To that end, we recommend that you inform your community of any deductibles provided for by your contract.

This description is contained in the "Terms and Conditions" that the participants in the community (Users) accept when the register on the platform.
Fines will be your responsibility since you are the signatory to the rental contract.

HOW TO USE THE PLATFORM


Sharing your car is easy: through the button "add availability" on the Homepage you can enter the availability by indicating the date, hour and place for the vehicle pick up and handover.
You can create your community directly from the platform; all you need is the User's e-mail address. The I-Link platform will send automatically the invitation containing the instructions and access credentials, which will be good for 30 days.
You can replace participants in the community at any time. All you need to do is to disable the existing Users and invite new ones. You can invite up to 10 Users in your Community.
The expense reimbursement is calculated automatically as the ratio of the monthly rental to the number of hours in a 30-day month. Total reimbursements by Users must be of a small amount and, in any case, not greater than your monthly rental payment. The expense reimbursement shown to the Users will refer to the cost per hour.
A User can pay you through paypal.me. To receive the reimbursement through paypal.me you need to save your PayPal link in the "account" section to make it visible to Users.
You can set different reimbursement procedures for the Users of your community, autonomously, through the I-Link platform.
No, you will receive the reimbursement in the month following that of the share. In the first four days of the following month, the User will receive a report on the shares of the previous month and any amount payable.
You can share your car with the same User for up to 21 consecutive days.
The platform does not have a functionality to put a limit on the number of kilometres travelled for each share. However, you can agree with the User on the maximum number of kilometres for each share. Any excess kilometres travelled can be settled between you and the User.
You will have to pay Leasys for any kilometres travelled in excess of those permitted by the long-term rental contract.
Before each share you must leave your keys in the vehicle and set the "SHARING ON" mode through the "RELEASE" button on the Homepage of the platform. In this way, only the User that booked the vehicle can open it through the I-Link App with the "OPEN" button.
You can deactivate the sharing mode directly from the platform with the "RESUME" button on the Homepage.
The share can be considered started from the moment the User opens the vehicle. I-Link allows the User to cancel the reservation up to 12 hours before the handover. If the User decides at the last minute not to use the vehicle, leaving the reservation active, you will be able to redefine autonomously the terms and conditions with the User.
It's possible to change the vehicle's reservation hours, unless the vehicle is to be shared with another User, provided that you authorize the Player in advance.
The User can cancel through the App the reservation up to 12 hours before the share. In the 12 hours preceding the share, it is up to you to accept the cancelation or not.
The User will park the vehicle in the area that you selected for the return, leave the keys in the vehicle and complete the share through the App by pressing the "Return" button.
To drive again the vehicle, all you have to do is to deactivate the sharing mode by pressing the "RESUME" button on the Homepage.
If the car is not parked in the area indicated for the return, the User cannot close the share on the I-Link App. Thus, we recommend that you do not choose too small an area, especially if there are few parking places.
No, the geolocation function will be inactive during the share.
